I also hate my capital one no hassel rewards card but I am in the middle of a year of travel around the world. As soon as I return to the states I am getting rid of it. I found out after the fact that I have to call capital one every two months to tell them that I am out of the country in order for them to not block my overseas transactions. I was not informed of this when I called before leaving the states. I informed them of my travel plans and the customer service person said "no problem, i will put a note on your account". It was only after many frustating and expensive overseas phone calls from India did I find out the two month rule. I have also had a bad experience with their travel service. They were rude and screwed up my ticket. I had to pay extra in order to get the tickets changed. The fraud department customer service people are completely ignorant about overseas travel issues. I have had this card for a long time as well but I don´t care. I am dumping this card and telling everyone that their service is awful.

No hassel travel not in any manner is that statement true. First when you book your miles there is no upgrade for money or extra miles. Next the rude booking agent tries to force you to at least buy one ticket by booking you on inconvieniet flights. We used the card to accumulate what would be first class round trip tickets from CA. to Georgia on any other card only to be treated badly what a waste. We averaged over three thousand dollars a month just to waste our time and energy our vacation will only be saved by getting another card and charging what should be free.

[...] Some credit cards don’t report their limits. They mention the problems of Capital One here that I have discussed in the past. To summarize, when your real limit isn’t reported it can make it look like your using a lot more of your available credit than you really are. No preset spending limit cards such as those from American Express also have this problem. [...]
